Robert and Joyce's Guestbook

My father-in-law sent me your CD “Laughing through Life”. He thought he had the perfect gift (and it is!!) because I had just been to Holmfirth, West Yorkshire, and I should know about this Victoria fellow most definitely!! I wanted to let you know I have immensely enjoyed listening to the CD this past week on my drives to Victoria from Sidney and back. Just listening to your voice with your accent and the engaging stories has brightened these somewhat foggy January winter days and has put a smile on my face!! You are Hilarious!!!

I purchased all 4 of the Lizzie books from you at the Touch of Saltspring craft fair.  I bought the first book one day, read almost half of it that night, and came back and bought the other three the next day.  I THOROUGHLY enjoyed every one of those books!  I have borrowed the Victoria Chronicles books from the Public Library but will no doubt purchase them as well. I have also purchased your Whispers Across Time. These books are becoming a part of my own personal library and will not be loaned out. I am telling everyone, as well as those at the library, that these books are well-worth reading.

I bought your book Lizzie after we stumbled across you having had a nice stout in the Irish Times Pub where we met some great Canadians, and of course, now I would like the other lot in your series. I loved it and now can't wait to read the follow up ones. My Husband and I talked to Robert for ages. We have sat and listened to his CD and had a great time with that as well. You certainly got around Robert!

Comment: Met you two years ago in Victoria and bought the first two Victoria Chronicles, which you autographed for me. I was totally spell bound by them and learned so much about the history of Victoria and can't wait for the third one to be published. I will be in Victoria in September....to early to buy the latest in the series....but I will have my friend send it over to me when it goes on sale.

Comment: I met you last fall at a market in Victoria. I truly enjoyed talking to you, and bought the Victoria Chronicles books. I thoroughly enjoyed both books and I have just ordered the first in the Lizzie Series and look forward to reading it. Will you have a third book in the Victoria Chronicles? This book (Lizzie: Lethal Innocence) is one of those I'd consider a hidden gem. I was not disappointed!  In fact, this is very much a charming little book about a delightful little girl who goes from street urchin to business woman in 18th century London.  I highly recommend it!  I couldn't set it down the whole time I was reading it, and there's only been 3 or 4 books in the last year I felt that way about.
